Ideal for large gatherings such as weddings, large school groups or family reunions, the two group sites at Dewey Bridge are a wonderful retreat for adventurers looking to explore the area. Within close proximity to national parks and open space, outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy hiking, mountain biking, whitewater rafting, and four-wheel drive tours in the surrounding area. The town of Moab is approximately 45 minutes away and has dining, shopping, sports rentals, tour companies and museums.
From Moab, drive north to the junction with Highway 128. Turn right and travel 29 miles along the river road. The group sites are to your right as you enter the Dewey Bridge campground.
Gusty winds are possible so always secure your tents and camping gear. Ravens, chipmunks and other wildlife frequent the sites; never leave food out. Summer thunderstorms can cause flash flooding and gusty winds; stay aware of current weather. Annual, Senior and Access passes do not apply to group site fees. There are no showers, electricity, dump stations or drinking water at these sites but they are available in the town of Moab.
