The South Front Range Region rivals all areas of Colorado in terms of attractions. With Colorado Springs on the north side, Pueblo at the south and Cripple Creek and Lake George to the west, this is a highly desirable destination. Pikes Peak rises to 14,117 feet above sea level just west of Colorado Springs. Cheyenne Mountain, Eleven Mile/Spinney Reservoir and Lake Pueblo State Park provide ample camping opportunities. Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument and the United States Airforce Academy are all just the beginning to the sights in southern Front Range of Colorado.
