The Northeast Region of Colorado extends from Fort Morgan along Interstate 76 out to Julesburg and the border of Nebraska. During the summer this region is optimal for boating and water sports. North Sterling State Park and Julesburg Reservoir are two notable destinations. In the winter months hunters come out for pheasant and a variety of other small game opportunities.
