The varied landscape encompasses high mountain peaks, sand dunes, canyons, the Colorado River and open sage-brush parks. The area offers a wide variety of recreation opportunities including rafting, hunting, fishing, camping, watchable wildlife, scenic driving, equestrian, and OHV use.
