The Frontier Pathways Scenic Byway is a 126-mile long scenic drive through the southern Colorado, passing through the towns of Pueblo, Colorado City, and Westcliffe. The byway begins in the city of Pueblo, which is known for its steel mills and historic downtown, as it continues through the Wet Mountains, it passes through the San Isabel National Forest, offering a variety of recreational opportunities like hiking, fishing and picnicking. The byway also passes through several historic towns like Colorado City, which has a rich history of mining and the Westcliffe, known for its picturesque mountain views and dark skies that make it a prime spot for stargazing.

The byway offers several scenic viewpoints, such as the Greenhorn Mountain, which offers a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and the Wet Mountain Valley, and the Bishop Castle, which is an impressive stone castle that was built by hand by Jim Bishop. The byway also offers several opportunities for wildlife viewing, including elk, bighorn sheep, and a variety of bird species.
